LL Bean Trail Lumbar Pack 300

For a lot of my shorter hikes or walks I want to be able to bring a few things with me, but I don’t want to have to carry a full-size daypack since I’d barely fill it up.

That’s where the Trail Lumbar Pack 300 from L.L. Bean comes in. It’s big enough to easily hold a water bottle or two, a raincoat and your camera along with a snack while it’s not so big that you feel that it’s overkill for a short hike or a walk.

It’s well made, backed by the L.L. Bean name and I’ve found it to be a very versatile pack that often comes with me on my explorations of nearby parks and reservations where I’ll be hiking, but not for very long.
