Boscobel House and Gardens - Garrison, New York

Boscobel House and Gardens

Built by States Dyckman in the early 1800s, Boscobel was his home and the home to his family for several generations. The house, today located in Garrison, was actually constructed further south in the Town of Montrose. It was moved to Garrison, about 15 miles to the north, in order to preserve it and the surrounding lands where it was placed have been made to appear as they would have originally.

Today the house and surrounding gardens are open to the public. There are daily tours of the home and you can view the gardens and walk on the trails at your own pace. Boscobel also hosts a summer Shakespeare series, with performances going on throughout the summer.
