Having lived in Massachusetts for quite some time and never having made it to the Rockport area, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the Halibut Point State Park was. It's located on Halibut Point which juts out into the ocean and offers views of coastal Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. You also get to explore the old quarrying operation that took place there and get some exercise by walking around the quarry and along the coast.
