Dinosaur State Park - Rocky Hill, Connecticut
Dinosaur State Park is located just south of Hartford, Connecticut and is home to one of the densest collections of dinosaur tracks in the country. While it does cost money to visit the tracks, it is a worthwhile destination, especially for those with interests in dinosaurs and geology.
Years ago I had heard that there was a park in Connecticut that was host to dinosaur tracks, but I never thought much of it until we were spending several days down at Mohegan Sun and we were looking for activities to get us out of the casino. That's when I thought of this park again and we made plans to visit, without really knowing what to expect other than it was home to dinosaur tracks.
