were one of the pairs of socks that converted me to wearing hiking socks instead of regular socks when I go hiking many years ago. I know they are pricey, but after hiking with them, you will wonder why it took you so long to get a pair.I use these socks for all different kinds of hiking and backpacking trips. They are good in warm weather and in colder weather. I also use them as socks for my backcountry ski boots.
